Course: Side Dish

Ingredients

  • .5 cup silken tofu (in the Asian food section if you shop at Whole Foods)
  • Lemon juice from 2 lemons
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • .5-1 tbsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • .5-1 tbsp nutritional yeast

Hollyized Steps:

  • First open your package of silken tofu and drain all the water. Take half a cup of the tofu and place it on a small plate or bowl. Microwave for approximately 35 seconds.
  • Then put the hot tofu into the small bowl of your food processor using the small blade. Leave on until the tofu is a smooth white.
  • Add the cayenne pepper, turmeric, yeast, lemon juice and oil into the food processor with the tofu.
  • Combine all ingredients by pulsing the food processor for approximately one minute.
  • Simply serve over your recycled greens and you’re done! Who said being a hippy couldn’t be fabulously glam … or tasty?!
